This club’s purpose is to make a difference in our community and the world. The club meets at lunch on Mondays.
Come enjoy a great book and a cup of tea. This group meets at lunch on the first and last Tuesday of each month.
The diversity club is inclusive of all students, including LGBTQ2, and meets to discuss any and all topics important to emotional and physical well-being. Join the group on Tuesdays at lunch.
This is a student-lead art club where members decide on themes and techniques they want to practice each week. The club runs every after school in the Art Room.
This group meets every Wednesday at lunch in room B207. Everyone is welcome.
The Eco club is involved in environmentally-focused initiatives at HSS. The group meets every Wednesday at lunch in room B103.
This group is responsible for producing “Sounders Unmasked” an online newspaper for students by students. Come join the group on Thursdays at lunch in the library computer lab.
JACK CHAPTERS CLUB
This group helps bring awareness to the stigma around mental health in our school and community. The club meets every Friday at lunch in room B103.
POST-SECONDARY CLUB – start date TBA
The club’s purpose is to discuss applying to post-secondary institutions as well as scholarship opportunities. It is open to students in all grades.
CLIMBING CLUB – start date TBA
The climbing club uses the climbing wall at HSS and teaches students the basics of top-rope climbing and belaying. Students will learn proper safety and communication techniques, as well as the basics of good climbing technique. No gear is required and no prior experience is necessary.
